Lifetime Warranty & Care Policy

Lifetime warranty for our craftsmanship.

NinaVova jewelry is handcrafted with careful attention to quality, structure, and detail. We offer a free lifetime warranty against manufacturing defects on our jewelry.

Important: our lifetime warranty applies only to manufacturing defects. It does not cover damage, accidents, impact, negligence, theft, loss, improper care, routine maintenance, or repairs made necessary by use over time.

What our lifetime warranty covers

Our warranty covers manufacturing defects, meaning issues caused by the original construction or craftsmanship of the piece.

If you believe your jewelry has a manufacturing defect, please contact us with clear photos and a short explanation of what happened. We will review the piece and explain the next step.

What our lifetime warranty does not cover

A lifetime warranty does not mean the jewelry cannot be damaged. Rings are worn on the hand and can be affected by impact, pressure, chemicals, snagging, bending, dropping, or being hit against hard surfaces.

The warranty does not cover damage, accidents, negligence, theft, loss, improper storage, improper care, outside repair work, or repairs needed because the piece has been used over time.

  • Damage caused by hitting the ring against a counter, door, weight, tool, stone, hard surface, or other object.
  • Damage caused by dropping, crushing, bending, snagging, pulling, or putting strong pressure on the ring.
  • Prongs that become worn down and need retipping.
  • Prongs that loosen, shift, or bend from snagging, bumping, impact, or use over time.
  • A shank or band that becomes worn down, thin, misshapen, bent, or distorted.
  • Settings that are bent or damaged because of accidents, pressure, impact, or negligence.
  • Stones that become chipped, cracked, abraded, or broken because of impact, accidents, or use over time.
  • Lost stones caused by worn, loosened, bent, shifted, or damaged settings.
  • Stained, discolored, or damaged stones caused by contact with lotions, perfumes, soaps, cleaners, chemicals, chlorine, or similar products.
  • Any damage caused by work performed by another jeweler.

Routine maintenance and repairs

Fine jewelry requires maintenance throughout its life. Cleaning, inspection, tightening, polishing, prong work, stone replacement, or other repairs may be needed as the piece is worn.

These services are not considered manufacturing defects and are not covered by the lifetime warranty. To reduce the need for repairs, always follow proper care and cleaning guidelines and remove your ring before activities that could expose it to impact, pressure, or chemicals.

When to remove your ring

To protect your jewelry, remove it before activities that may expose it to hard impact, pressure, chemicals, or unnecessary stress.

  • Gym workouts, weightlifting, climbing, cycling, sports, or physical training.
  • Cleaning with chemicals, bleach, chlorine, or strong household products.
  • Gardening, moving furniture, working with tools, or hands-on labor.
  • Swimming, hot tubs, saunas, or situations where the ring may slip off.
  • Sleeping if the ring can catch on fabric, hair, or bedding.

Insurance is strongly recommended

We strongly recommend purchasing your own insurance for meaningful jewelry. A lifetime craftsmanship warranty is not a replacement for insurance.

Jewelry is often insured through a homeowners or renters policy rider, or through a separate jewelry insurance provider. Insurance may help protect against loss, theft, accidental damage, or other situations outside the scope of a manufacturing warranty.

Repairs outside the warranty

Repairs that are not related to a manufacturing defect can usually be completed for a fee. Pricing depends on the scope of work required to restore the piece.

To save shipping costs and transit time, you may also choose to have the piece repaired by a trusted local jeweler. If you are unsure what to do, contact us first and we can help you decide the best next step.

In simple terms: NinaVova offers a free lifetime warranty against manufacturing defects. The warranty does not cover damage, accidents, impact, negligence, theft, loss, improper care, routine maintenance, outside repair work, or repairs needed from use over time.
