2 ct South Indian Heritage Ring
A Heritage Ring Inspired by Coimbatore and Tamil Nadu
Created to honor the bride’s hometown of Coimbatore and her Tamil Nadu heritage, this custom engagement ring translates regional art and ornament into sculpted white-gold relief. An approximately 2 ct oval lab-grown diamond is secured in a smooth bezel setting with no side stones, allowing the center diamond to remain the focal point while the band carries the cultural story. Its relief draws from flowing Kolam patterns, the geometry of Athangudi and Chettinad tiles, and ornamental forms found in traditional Jhumka earrings.

The ring was designed to honor the bride’s hometown and the wider visual culture of Tamil Nadu. Flowing Kolam patterns, Athangudi and Chettinad tile geometry, and Jhumka-inspired ornament were translated into a unified sculpted design.
