Claw Prong Setting

The center diamond is held by fine claw prongs rather than heavier rounded prongs. They keep the setting visually light and leave more of the diamond exposed while still securing the stone from multiple points.

The center stone gives the ring its main visual scale. Rather than surrounding it with a heavy setting, the design keeps the metal around the diamond restrained so the center remains the strongest element.

The Original Design

The sketch lets us work through the ring before anything is made in metal. Here, the main questions were the scale of the oval center diamond, how fine the claw prongs should feel, where the melee diamonds should begin, and how the wedding band would relate to the engagement ring. Those decisions can be adjusted at the design stage before the final piece moves into production.

Designed Together

One Bridal Set, Not Two Separate Rings

A matching wedding band works best when it is considered while the engagement ring is still being designed. That gives us control over the spacing, proportions, diamond placement, and the way the two rings visually connect.

In this set, the same yellow gold and melee diamond language continues through both rings, while the engagement ring remains centered on the 2 ct diamond.
